El Calafate offers an ideal staging area to visit Los Glaciers National Park, with over a dozen glaciers. Hikers can access El Chalten and the majestic Mt. Fitz Roy for adventure & trekking. Or, head west to the Chilean Patagonia and Torres Del Paine National Park. On the coast visit Puerto Madryn, Punta Tombo & Peninsula Valdes, home to the Magellan penguins, sea lions and whale watching.

The Southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. A picturesque city by the sea inviting hikers, climbers, and even skiers. It also serves as a launch point for expedition cruises to the fjords of Chile, the Strait of Magellan, and most notably the southernmost continent, Antarctica.
