Emeril Lagasse's First-Ever Restaurant at Sea Aboard Mardi Gras!

Get your taste buds ready because we have some tasty news for you! World-renowned chef and restaurateur, Emeril Lagasse, will create another Mardi Gras' "first" with his first-ever restaurant at sea! Tell your clients to get their appetites ready for signature dishes at Emeril's Bistro 1396TM, which includes favorites like oyster and cochon de lait po-boys, Emeril's signature barbecue shrimp, fresh seafood ceviche, mouth-watering inspired dishes, and so much more.

As one of New Orleans' most acclaimed and respected chefs, there is no one better suited to create Mardi Gras' signature French Quarter's restaurant. Named after Mardi Gras' hull number at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, Emeril's Bistro 1396 will be the centerpiece of the French Quarter, one of six themed zones where guests will find fun, memorable ways to create their own personalized vacations. Emeril will bring an added level of authenticity to the Mardi Gras experience and a taste of authentic "New Orleans" cuisine.

The highly anticipated Mardi Gras is under construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland, and is set to debut in Europe August 31, 2020. Mardi Gras will then reposition to New York for a series of cruises before she sets sail to her new homeport in Port Canaveral, where she will offer you year-round 7-day Caribbean cruises beginning in October 2020.
