​Norwegian has just announced a new cancellation policy starting on 01 January 2016. For passengers wanting to cancel trips, the deadlines to do so will be earlier and the penalties higher.

Norwegian has just announced a new cancellation policy starting on 01 January 2016. For passengers wanting to cancel trips, the deadlines to do so will be earlier and the penalties higher.

Starting the first of the year a five-day cruise would have to be cancelled more than 57 days in advance of departure to only lose the deposit. Cancelling 56 days in advance means a 50% penalty Cancellations 29 days in advance triggers 75%

Cancellations 15 days or less - 100%. A cruise seven days or longer cancelled more than 90 days in advance of departure will only lose the deposit. If cancellation is 89 to 76 days in advance of departure the penalty will be 25% penalty.

If cancelled 75 days in advance, a 50% penalty 60 days - 75% penalty 30 days or less - 100%.
