Gold Souq

Textile Souq 

The Textile Souq is situated in Bur Dubai. Get ready to be welcomed by the heavy wooden gates as you enter this lively traditional marketplace. You will come across many small shops filled with rolls of luxe fabrics, including dazzling sari fabric, airy cottons and fine silks. The tailors will be there for you to stitch a kandora ((traditional menswear), abaya (traditional womenswear) or specially made suits. 

Perfume Souq 

Are you passionate about fragrances? Then consider visiting the Perfume Souq iin Deira area on Sikkat al Khali Street. Here you will find all kinds of fragrances and everything scented – the ever-popular traditional Oud, incense sticks, essential oils and pure perfume. The scented items and oils are sold in wholesale. However, the vendors would lovingly prepare for you smaller bottles as well to suit your taste.

Spice Souq

The Spice Souq is situated next to the Gold Souq. You will need to spend few hours here to discover the traditional Arabic trading. You will find home cooks, top chefs and savvy expats buying from the wide range of local and imported spices. Apart from an extensive range of exotic spices, you can also purchase dried fruits, nuts, rice, high-quality saffron strands and fresh Grade-A dates.
