St. Regis Bora Bora Voted World’s Best Hotel

The Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards recently voted the St. Regis Bora Bora the World's Best Hotel Complex in 2018! The nominees and winners were selected on two rounds by an audience of travel professionals. The St. Regis recently unveiled its incredible new Monoi Bar in its Maeva boutique where hands-on classes are offered on Tuesdays and Sundays at 10:30, inviting guests to make their own monoi oils, perfumes, and soaps.

Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach Resort Renovations
Renovations began in March on the Sofitel Bora Bora, a visually stunning property that consists of luxury bungalows on stilts. The property’s grand reopening is scheduled for September 1, 2019 which will include charming rooms with gorgeous ocean views, as they float right above the water. The hotel will also be renovating the restaurant, bar and swimming pool in addition to the accommodations.

May 7 – May 11: 16th annual Tahiti Pearl Regatta
This scenic sailing event takes place in the Leeward Islands this May, featuring hundreds of sailboats on the open water. The Tahiti Pearl Regatta is an important event in Polynesia, featuring a regatt of sailboats and dugout canoes. The yearly rendezvous gathers local Tahitians and Polynesian Pacific lovers from afar.

May 23 – June 2: Les Floralies
This 10-day exhibition is dedicated to Tahiti’s gorgeous local flora and fauna. The flowers and plants featured at this event display unparalleled biodiversity. This annual event pays tribute to the nature that the Chamber of Agriculture and Lagoon Fishing have been nurturing for 4 years.

May 31 – June 1: X Terra Tahiti – Moorea, 5th Edition
The third stop on the 2019 XTERRA Asia-Pacific comes to Moorea. After an early morning boat ride to the island, an incredible adventure awaits with a 1.5km open water swim, a 32km mountain bike and a tropical jungle 10.6km trail run. The top competitors will qualify for the 2019 XTERRA World Championship.
