SKYGREECE LICENSE SUSPENDED

The Canadian Transport Agency has suspended SkyGreece’s licence.  In a notice posted on their site they state that the airline “has ceased to meet the requirement to have the prescribed liability insurance coverage.”
The statement in full:

SkyGreece Airlines S.A. (Licensee) is licensed to operate a scheduled international service in accordance with the Agreement on Air Transport between Canada and the European Community and its Member States, signed on December 18, 2009 (Agreement).

The Licensee has ceased to meet the requirement to have the prescribed liability insurance coverage under subparagraph 69(1)(a)(iii) of theCanada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended (CTA).

Pursuant to subsection 72(1) of the CTA, the licence is suspended.
