As countries around the world begin to reopen their borders to international travelers, the Caribbean is reopening too, with many islands ready to accept visitors and top resorts reopening their doors. Sandals Resorts International, for example, just announced the reopening of the 373-room Sandals Grande Antigua Resort, one of the all-inclusive giant’s 24 properties in the Caribbean and Bahamas, and the first property to officially reopen the chain. And it comes as the Caribbean gets ready to accept tourists after most of the islands effectively shut their borders to any visitors during the crisis.
