Flights from Deer Lake to Toronto will have increased capacity this summer. Air Canada Rouge will be offering two direct flights daily for the summer tourist season.

“Air Canada is pleased to offer over 30 percent more seats over summer last year between Toronto and Deer Lake, said Benjamin Smith, president Passenger Airlines in a news release.
“By deploying Air Canada rouge on Deer Lake, a popular summer and winter travel destination, Air Canada is reinforcing its commitment to meet the needs of the community with year-round direct service to our global hub in Toronto and by providing travellers greater access to the Northern Peninsula and Gros Morne National Park.”
A 136-seat Airbus with Air Canada Rouge will fly out of Deer Lake at 5:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
"The additional seat capacity on the Airbus 319 aircraft along with the affordable fares will help stimulate passenger traffic and enhance travel activity during the busy summer tourist season," said Jamie Schwartz, Deer Lake Airport CEO.
The Deer Lake to Toronto flight will return to daily service during the fall and winter schedule.
