Authorities in Guyana have temporarily limited access to the popular Kaieteur Falls following several suicides. Tourism Minister Catherine Hughes said Monday that visitors will not be able to access the edge of the 741-foot (226-meter) waterfall.

She said authorities are trying to find the body of a Guyanese woman who jumped to her death on Saturday after she bolted from a tour. It is the second suicide at the falls in three months. The suicide prompted authorities to cancel tours over the weekend. Kaieteur Falls is considered one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. It is located in a remote region in central Guyana.
