GONE GIRL Toronto police seeking assistance to locate travel agent Carolyn Michelle Solomon

Toronto Police have issued a News Release seeking the assistance of the public to locate Carolyn (Michelle) Solomon pictured above, who is wanted in a fraud investigation. In response to numerous complaints from consumers who received unauthorized charges on their credit cards, TICO conducted an investigation and, to date, has laid a total of 18 charges against Solomon for operating as a travel agent without registration.

TICO’s charges relate to Solomon’s activities after the registration of Blue Mountain Travel in Toronto was terminated in July 2015.In October of 2015, following TICO’s application to the Superior Court of Justice, an Order to Cease and Desist prohibiting Solomon from selling travel services without registration was issued.On April 15, 2016, Solomon was arrested by Toronto Police and was charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000. Since that time and after further investigation, Toronto Police have charged her with numerous other offences.On October 13, York Regional Police officers reportedly attempted to arrest Solomon in the Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West area north of Toronto, but she fled the scene in a gold 2007 Chrysler 200 with the Ontario licence plate BZNE248.Consequently Solomon is now also wanted for dangerous driving, obstructing police and driving while under suspension and police are “strongly encouraging” her to turn herself in.To access the Toronto Police News Release and Picture – click here Toronto Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact 9-1-1 immediately.Information can also be shared with Detective Ruth Moran at 416-808-7319, by email at ruth.moran@torontopolice.on.ca or by contacting Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222- TIPS (8477), online at www.222tips.com , text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637).
