French authorities have opened an investigation after a baby was found hidden in a bag belonging to a passenger on board an Air France plane.

The child spotted by another passenger, who saw something wriggling in the bag brought onboard by a female passenger was described as being between one and two years old.The French company says in a statement that the child, who travelled with “an adult” on Air France Flight 1891 from Istanbul to Paris on Monday, did not have a valid ticket.Air France says it requested “the presence of French authorities on the flight's arrival” to deal with the matter. No details of the child's identity were given.Air France said the child was travelling without a ticket. Children under two fly for free, but they must have valid travel documents.TURN IT DOWNThe turbulence on a Los Angeles-bound flight was from a dust-up over a boom box. It happened aboard Spirit Flight 141 from Baltimore. Authorities tell the Los Angeles Times that two drunk women began blasting music. When other passengers asked them to turn it down, they refused and waved the boom box around. Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry says that's when a second group of passengers got involved and it turned physical. Police met the plane when it landed at LAX. Five women involved in the fight were pulled off the plane. The FBI also was called to investigate but no one was arrested.AIRPORT-NOISE COMPLAINTSSomeone is raising a ruckus about the racket at Reagan Airport. Last year, nearly 8,700 noise complaints were made about Washington's Reagan National Airport. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says three-quarters of those complaints, a whopping 6,500, came from the same person. That's the equivalent of making about 18 calls every day of the year. The Washington Post reports airport authority officials haven't named the frequent complainer.
