ANYTHING TO DECLARE What a carry on

The hunt is on for a flight attendant who dumped carry-on bags containing nearly US $2 million worth of cocaine at Los Angeles Airport. The woman, unfortunately for her, was singled out for a random inspection, whereupon she panicked and fled barefoot, leaving behind her Gucci shoes.

Screeners then discovered 66 pounds of cocaine stuffed in the bags which she ditched as she made her hurried departure. The suspect has not been publically named but is employed by an also unnamed, 'major airline' as a flight attendant. She 'abandoned her belongings and escaped on foot,' US Drug Enforcement Administration spokesman Timothy Massino said in a statement. After the incident the union for Los Angeles airport police officers called for all airport employees to be screened every time without exception."Flight attendants and other crew members are not normally subjected to searches, but this is a perfect example of why Los Angeles airports need 100 percent screening of all passengers and airport employees," a union statement said."Total employee screening is realistic and achievable and it should happen here at LAX." And everywhere else.
