Itinerary Details
Day 1. Home Town - Beijing (In-Flight Meals)
Today board the flight to Beijing. Enjoy the on board food, beverage and the entertainment.


Day 2. Arrive Beijing (In-Flight Meals)
We arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China. Greet our local guide in the arrivals hall and transfer to our luxury accommodations for a good night's rest.


Day 3. Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch, Special Dinner)
This morning, you will sight-see Tiananmen Square, which is noted as the largest public square in the world and then the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Later stop at a Pearl Factory to gain a little knowledge of fresh pearls. Followed by the visit of Summer Palace, the entire site is comprised of 800 buildings with more than 9,000 rooms. In the evening, your included welcoming dinner will feature the famous Peking Duck and wine.


Day 4. Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
The Great Wall of China is one of the seven greatest man-made wonders of the world and is definitely the focal point of China. You will hike along the Great Wall (Juyongguan Pass). After that, you will stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade. In Chinese, jade is pronounced as 'Yu', and it has a history in China of at least four thousand years, later visit Traditional Chinese Medicine Center and enjoy a free foot-massage.


Day 5, Beijing - Xian (Breakfast, Lunch)
Fly to Xi'an in the morning. Enjoy lunch in local restaurant upon arrival. Xi'an, the former capital of China, enjoys a rich history of 5000 years. Visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which is located inside the Jianfu Temple in southern Xian city and one of the famous landmark of Xian. If time permits, enjoy the bike ride on the ancient city wall.


Day 6, Xian (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang unified China and became the first emperor. When he died, an entire Terra Cotta Army was constructed to be buried along with the emperor. It was uncovered serendipity in 1974 by farmers, and then became one of the century's greatest archaeological discoveries. You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, and Terra Cotta Army replication factories. Drive back to hotel after the local restaurant dinner.


Day 7, Xian - Shanghai - Suzhou (Breakfast, In-Flight Lunch)
Fly to Shanghai in morning and be transferred to Suzhou (Lunch will be served on plane). Suzhou, which dates back to 514 BC, is sometimes called the “Venice of the East”. The city is famous for its canals and stone bridges.


Day 8, Suzhou - Hangzhou (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
You will visit San Tang Street which has always been regarded as the first name of Suzhou ancient streets. Santang Street has a long history of about 1,100 years, its layout and architecture are best to represent the characteristics of Suzhou's old alleys, and it has connections to many ancient Chinese celebrities and anecdotes. The Lingering Garden is a renowned classical Chinese garden and is recognized with other classical Suzhou gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. China is known for its silk, so for sure we will take you to the Silk Spinning Factory. Depart for Hangzhou later.


Day 9, Hangzhou - Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Hangzhou is one of the seven capitals of ancient China, known for its tea products. Take a small boat ride on the West Lake which reveals the ethereal beauty of Hangzhou's willow draped islands. You will admire also the Su Causeway. It was built in the fifth year of Yuanyou Period in the Northern Song Dynasty (1090) and has evolved since then. Later, you will have a cup of Chinese famous Longjing tea at Green Tea Village, and then drive you to Shanghai. Stop at the city's colonial European past at the Bund before check into your hotel.


Day 10, Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
The highlights of today's sightseeing tour include the Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai's old Street, the colonial styled Bund and the Nanjing Road. Afternoon continue to Shanghai silk factory, and then Shanghai Museum where you have the opportunity to discover some of China's priceless pieces of ancient art consisting of bronze, ceramic, jade and calligraphy. We will transfer you back to your luxury hotel and dinner will be on your own.


Day 11, Shanghai- Hometown (Breakfast)
Enjoy some free time in the morning, and then home your sweet home. Your amazing Chinatour.com trip ends.
