ONE LAST DAY All over but the counting

It seems to have been a very long time coming but it’s finally election day in the US. Donald Trump had a last message to his supporters in the election's waning hours, “We have to win.” His reasoning was not typical of most presidential candidates, but then, this has hardly been a typical campaign season. The Republican nominee told his final rally crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan that, “If we don't win, this will be the single greatest waste of time, energy and money in my life.”

Which pretty well sums it up.
Finally acknowledging the lateness of the hour, he told his supporters, “Go to bed! Go to bed right now! Get up and vote!”
Then seemingly hoping for one last chorus of “Mexico”, he concluded, “I just want to ask you one question, if you don't mind, at 1 o'clock in the morning: Who is going to pay for the wall?”
As he spoke, dozens of people streamed toward the exit, forming a procession in front of an area where reporters were stationed.
Some said they were trying to get closer to the door. But most said they were leaving because they were tired, wanted to beat traffic or had heard enough.
Hillary Clinton spent the final hours of her presidential campaign trying to strike a stark contrast with Trump and calling on voters to reject Donald Trump's “dark and divisive” vision.
Clinton said she loved her country, and “what it stands for,” adding, “not that we are blind to its flaws, its problems, its challenges.
“I believe with all my heart that America’s best days are still ahead of us, if we reach for them together."
"We choose to believe in a hopeful, inclusive, big-hearted America, an America where everyone has a place, everyone is included, everyone has a chance to live up to their own God-given potential.”
She vowed to “build bridges, not walls” and told her audience in closing that “love trumps hate.”
Which also pretty well sums it up.
