ABSOLUT IDIOTS Paying the price for bad behaviour

As passenger behaviour continues to deteriorate and grow more disruptive - this is a solution whose time has most definitely come. UK low cost carrier Jet2 has banned six passengers from its flights. The airline claimed the group was rude and aggressive to staff on a flight to Tenerife from Newcastle last week. Three of them have been banned for a year and the airline is refusing to fly the other three home.

A spokesman said, "We have banned three passengers from flying with us for 12 months, and are refusing to fly a further three passengers on their return flight home after they disrupted our Newcastle to Tenerife flight on Saturday 10th September.
"This group were rude and aggressive to our cabin crew after drinking illicit alcohol, and they should be in no doubt that the consequences of such behaviour will not be accepted.
"As a family friendly airline carrying millions of holidaymakers, many of whom our families, we want our customers to have an enjoyable flight experience without the actions of a disruptive few spoiling it and we will take all necessary action to stamp it out.
"Jet2.com introduced our leading 'On Board Together' initiative last Summer and will continue to call for action from airports and retailers to follow our lead.
"We welcome the proposed review by Lord Ahmad into the sale of alcohol at airports and also call for the introduction of sealed bags for Duty Free purchases."
Jet2 last month banned the sale of alcohol on flights before 8 am to try to tackle abusive behaviour.
NOTE: We so not actually know what brand of vodka (and reportedly it was vodka) was being consumed.
