Passengers of NexusTours are now able to access free Wi-Fi during airport transfers or en route to and from excursions. The destination management service offers multiple types of transportation and this new capability allows passengers to stay connected in transit.

“By adding free internet access on board our fleet of vehicles NexusTours is reinforcing our commitment to the best customer service,” said Eduardo Obeso, corporate director of Information Technology, NexusTours. “It’s rewarding to be part of an organization that not only provides value-added services like this but stays at the forefront of technology, ensuring our customers have the best experience possible.” The process of adding Wi-Fi capability to the fleet will roll out in phases.

To begin, Wi-Fi will be included on the 25 branded shuttles that operate in Cancun. Access will be added to the NexusTours fleet in Dominican Republic later this year, then Jamaica’s vehicles will join the Wi-Fi enabled fleet in early 2016. “Smartphones are now the go-to method when sharing your experiences while travelling," said Ruben Gutierrez, managing director, NexusTours. “We know that Wi-Fi will be useful, whether it’s an executive checking their email, couples sending messages to family or friends sharing photos and videos after an exhilarating experience.”
