“CARIBBEAN PLUS”

Caribbean Airlines will offer our valued customers the opportunity to experience greater convenience and comfort with our “Caribbean Plus” product.

1. What is “Caribbean Plus”?

“Caribbean Plus” is a product which offers seat features which you can select for an additional cost to your economy class ticket for all Caribbean Airlines’ destinations except for flights between Trinidad & Tobago.

“Caribbean Plus” is currently available only on flights operated with our Boeing 737 fleet. You can pre-book and pay for seats in rows 4-10 which offer extra legroom within the economy cabin.

2. What are the benefits of “Caribbean Plus”?

“Caribbean Plus” passengers on our Boeing 737 jet aircraft will enjoy the benefits of:

 Earlier boarding

 Extra legroom to stretch your legs (you will enjoy a seat pitch of 37” which is 5” more legroom than the standard economy class seat)

 Extra room to recline

 Exit faster on arrival at your destination

3. How much does a “Caribbean Plus” seat cost and does Value Added Tax (VAT) apply?

The price of “Caribbean Plus” seats vary based on your route of travel. The price is applicable to adults, children and infants paying for a seat. If a “Caribbean Plus” seat is selected, the cost of the seat must be paid in addition to the ticket price. The price of a “Caribbean Plus” seat starts at USD 15 one-way, depending on the route.

Value Added Tax (VAT) will apply to seats purchased for travel originating out of Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados.

To check the price of a “Caribbean Plus” seat, simply select the “Caribbean Plus” seat from the seat map at the time of booking, during web-check-in or at the airport counter during the check-in process.

4. How can I purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat?

“Caribbean Plus” seats can be purchased when booking your flight via Caribbean Airlines Reservation

Please note that you may purchase “Caribbean Plus” seats at the time of web check-in. These seats are subject to availability and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Seats must be paid for immediately upon selection.

Travel Agents purchasing “Caribbean Plus” seats on behalf of their customers are advised as follows:

 “Caribbean Plus” seats may be purchased via the Caribbean Airlines website caribbean-airlines.com for tickets issued using USD or CAD as the currency of payment as follows:

1. Visit www.caribbean‐airlines.com and click on “Manage Booking” .

2. Enter your Last Name and Booking Reference Number OR your thirteen digit ticket number which starts with 106.**

3. Select Additional services

4. Select and pay for your seat

 “Caribbean Plus” seats being purchased for tickets issued using any other form of currency as payment (XCD/TTD/JMD etc) must be done so using the Travel Agent Line via our Call Centre at

If you are on a flight where you have a connection and you wish to purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat, the fee will apply per sector

Price:

 Long Haul USD 35.00 (one-way)

 Medium Haul USD 25.00 (one-way)

 Short Haul USD 15.00 (one-way)

Note: Long Haul – All flights to /from North America/Caribbean (except flights to/from Ft Lauderdale and Orlando /Jamaica and Nassau).

Medium Haul – All flights to/from Ft Lauderdale and Orlando – Jamaica / Nassau and Intra-Caribbean & South American flights to/from Jamaica.

Short Haul – All Intra-Caribbean and South American Flights flights (excluding flights to/from Jamaica & Nassau).

Scenario:

A. A passenger who wishes to travel from New York (JFK) to Guyana (GEO) on a Caribbean Airlines nonstop service will be charged USD 35.00 for a “Caribbean Plus” seat.

B. A passenger who wishes to travel from New York (JFK) to Guyana (GEO) on a connecting flight via Trinidad (POS) and wishes to maintain the “Caribbean Plus” seat for the ENTIRE journey, shall be charged (JFK/POS USD 35.00- POS/GEO USD 15.00 = USD 50.00) for a “Caribbean Plus” seat.

Flights out of Canada: The price of a “Caribbean Plus” seat for flights originating out of Canada is CAD 45.00. However, if the flight originating from Canada has a stopover, the price out of the stop over point is converted from USD to the equivalent CAD based on the rate of exchange of the day.

6. If I’m already booked to travel, can I still purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat for my flight? Yes. You may purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat even after you are already ticketed to travel in economy class. “Caribbean Plus” seats can be bought via the following Caribbean Airlines channels: -

1. Reservations Sales and Service Centres

You may also purchase your “Caribbean Plus” seat via your travel agent.

7. If I already hold an economy class ticket and would like to purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat can I do so via www.caribbean‐airlines.com?

Yes. If you already hold an economy class ticket and wish to purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat via www.caribbean-airlines.com, please follow these steps:

Please note that “Caribbean Plus” seats are available for sale up until the time that the flight is closed off at the Airport.

8. Are “Caribbean Plus” seats available on all routes? “Caribbean Plus” seats may be purchased on all routes, subject to availability, except on domestic flights

between Trinidad and Tobago.

9. Which seats on the aircraft offer “Caribbean Plus”?

On the Boeing 737 jet aircraft, rows 4 – 10 have been reconfigured with more legroom for “Caribbean Plus” passengers. On this aircraft, there are 42 seats in the “Caribbean Plus” cabin. You may choose from any of these seats, subject to availability. Note: - Row 10 of all the Boeing 737 aircraft do not recline.

10. Is the “Caribbean Plus” fee refundable?

“Caribbean Plus” seats are non-refundable and valid only for the flight purchased. If you voluntarily cancel or change your itinerary, flight or cabin, you shall not be eligible for a refund. However, you do still have the option to book and pay for the “Caribbean Plus” seat on your new date/flight subject to availability. Subject to the above, a refund may be issued in the following circumstances:

- Caribbean Airlines cancels the flight.

- Caribbean Airlines changes the flight and is unable to provide a comparable seat on the new flight.

- Caribbean Airlines changes the aircraft scheduled to be used for the flight and is unable to provide a

“Caribbean Plus” seat on the new aircraft.

- “Caribbean Plus” seat is deemed defective (e.g. broken armrest, defective audio etc.)

11. Can I still select my seat if I don't want to pay the fee?

Yes, you can select regular economy seats for free. If there are no seats available to select, one will be assigned to you at the Airport.

12. If I wish to travel using a “Caribbean Plus” seat can I ensure that I'm seated with my minor child ? Is there an additional fee to be seated together?

At the time of booking and purchase of your “Caribbean Plus” seats for you and the child/children , you can reserve your seats together to ensure that you have the specific seats that you want. The only applicable fee will be the cost for the “Caribbean Plus” seat. There is no additional charge for being seated together. Remember seats are sold on a first come, first serve basis and subject to availability.

If you DO NOT wish to pay for a “Caribbean Plus” seat, you may select seats in the regular economy class cabin, for free.

13. If I am travelling with a group using “Caribbean Plus” – can we be seated together? Groups of 10 or more guests who have paid for “Caribbean Plus” seats and wish to be seated together can liaise with the Group Desk at the Reservations Sales and Service Centre and they will work with you to find the best available option.

14. I am a customer with a special need – how do I select my seat?

Passengers with special needs may call the Reservations Sales and Service Centre, Monday – Sunday, 7.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m. (AST) for assistance:

15. How soon can I purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat?

“Caribbean Plus” seats are available for purchase on/after May 1, 2018, for travel on/after June 1, 2018 only.

16. Will I get additional miles if I purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat?

No. “Caribbean Plus” seats do not attract additional miles.

17. Can I use my miles to purchase a “Caribbean Plus” seat? No. Miles cannot be used towards the purchase of a “Caribbean Plus” seat.

18. Can I use my Gold and Executive Gold Upgrade Certificate Vouchers to upgrade to a “Caribbean Plus” seat?

No. Gold and Executive Gold Upgrade Certificate Vouchers can only be used to upgrade to Business Class.

19. Does holding a “Caribbean Plus” seat grant me access to Lounge facilities? No. Lounge access can only be granted to holders of business class tickets and Club Caribbean members.
