Fantastic food and historic sights - a great city vacation

Enjoy the best. Although it's one of the United States' oldest cities, Boston is more than a history lesson. This sports-crazy city has some of America's best shopping, dining and museums. See history. Walk the Freedom Trail or stroll along the cobblestone lanes of Beacon Hill. Take the kids to the New England Aquarium and the Children's Museum. See familiar masterpieces at the Museum of Fine Art. Spent a day in Cambridge exploring Harvard or driving along Cape Cod to Provincetown. Do the best of Boston. Enjoy a latte at an Italian café in the North End. Shop in Back Bay or at historic Faneuil Hall. Catch the Red Sox at Fenway Park and then have some fresh seafood for dinner. Be there to cheer on Marathon runners or watch Fourth of July fireworks. Attend a Boston Symphony concert and finish the night at a neighbourhood bar. Book your hotel early. Because Boston is very walkable, you won't need a car unless you plan to take a trip out of the city. Boston's hotels tend to be small and fill up quickly, so it pays to book early.
