Toronto TO Brussels, Brussels Airlines launches new service from Toronto

Earlier this month Toronto became Brussels Airlines' first destination in Canada. The Star Alliance member now connects Toronto Pearson International Airport five times a week with its home base Brussels, and onwards to other destinations in Europe and Africa.

The flights leave Toronto every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 18:30 and arrive the next morning in Brussels at 07:50 local time. The flight to Toronto leaves Brussels Airport at 10:30 and arrives at Pearson Airport at 13:20 local time. 

The new service is operated with Airbus A330 aircraft offering Business and Economy cabins with on-demand in-flight entertainment, Belgian Beers and chocolates and culinary delights prepared by Belgian Michelin-starred chefs (only on flights out of Brussels). 

In cooperation with Star Alliance partners Air Canada and United, Brussels Airlines also offers its guests out of Europe many codeshare connections via Toronto to and from various other destinations in Canada

(Ottawa, Edmonton, Halifax, Quebec, Vancouver, Montreal Metropolitan Airport and St John’s) and the United States (Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Denver, Detroit, Seattle). 

Brussels Airlines is member of the Lufthansa Group, the Miles & More frequent Flyer Programme and Star Alliance. In Canada Brussels Airlines is represented by the sales organization of its partner Lufthansa.

Along with Allard, the launch at YYZ was attended by Raoul Delcorde, Belgium Ambassador to Canada, Susan Blondell, director, Internal Communications and Corporate Programmes and Craig Bradford, VP Aviation Services both of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA).
