NOT QUITE THE EXPECTED VIEW

A honeymooning couple on Holland America’s MS Zuiderdam said they paid $600 extra for a cabin with a window. When they got on board they found maintenance workers on the other side of the window repairing a lifeboat, and they were told that the work would be continued for the duration of the cruise.

The man took video of workers who appeared to be looking into his cabin and the sound of power equipment in the background and posted it on YouTube, using the name Nate Zemanek.
He complained at the front desk and was told that the couple couldn’t be moved because there was no available cabin space, but the cruise ship reimbursed him for their upgrade and offered him and his wife a dinner on board.
He posted on Reddit, using the name zmannate, 'This has not ruined our trip. We intend to have a blast and have another two weeks to do so.'
