Emirates is holding a Pilot Recruitment Open Day on Friday and Saturday, 23-24 October, at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel Toronto. Interested applicants get the opportunity to explore their dream job and learn about living in Dubai.
Emirates touts Dubai as offering an exceptional lifestyle and a vast range of leisure and cultural attractions, in addition to the sunny weather all year long. At the Pilot Recruitment Open Day, interested men and women will be able to speak to the Emirates recruitment team and to get insight into the company and working on-board an Emirates aircraft.

Emirates workforce is comprised of individuals from more than 160 countries, including more than 700 Canadian employees.

In 2014-15, Emirates received over 400,000 online applications from 227 countries, for 2,000 jobs.

As the airline added new aircraft, they recruited 350 flight deck crew, 4,600 cabin crew and 560 engineering staff to support its growing fleet. With the continued growth across the world, Emirates’ Pilot Recruitment Open Day at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel Toronto is looking to  recruit qualified local residents to join its team of 4,100 current flight deck crew members.

More than 12,600 staff have been with the company for over 10 years, and close to 3,000 staff have been with Emirates for over 20 years. Considering the largely expatriate and highly mobile workforce at its Dubai base, the high retention rates across the Emirates Group continues to speak to Emirates’ appeal as a global employer.
