BUZZ OFF Plane flies dangerously close to cruise ship

A video show, taken from a deck of the Norwegian Breakaway seems to show a jet aircraft flying low and dangerously close to the cruise ship. The Breakway was on a cruise from New York to Bermuda. The video was apparently filmed by a passenger on the cruise ship near St. George Bermuda, last Friday, June 24 at 4.30 pm.

The video was posted by Richard Ogle on YouTube on June 26, with the comment:"I have no idea what his intentions were, but I guarantee we all didn't like it. Whoever was the pilot of the Falcon, was either a terrorist who was spying on us, marine training, or a dumbass rich dude who's showing off his new aircraft. I don't know what the true answer is but I know that it wasn't normal and more than likely illegal for anything to be flying that close to a ship, especially 4 times in a row. Either way, nobody was hurt, but most were completely terrified, and I hope everybody is ok. The Video was taken on the Sundeck (Deck18) on the Norwegian Breakaway (NCL) on a 7 day round trip cruise from New York to Bermuda, at 4:30 PM at St. Gerorge, Bermuda June 24, 2016A Police spokesperson in Bermuda said, “The Bermuda Police Service has received several calls from concerned members of the public regarding aircraft flying at low altitude over the island.“‎After speaking with the Airport Duty Officer, it has been confirmed that the aircraft in question are two military jets that have permission from the Department of Civil Aviation to conduct low altitude circuits over Bermuda.”However, a later update later from the Head of Operations at the Department of Civil Aviation about the “low flying French Air Force Falcon aircraft,” contradicted the police report, saying the Department, “did not grant permissions for them to violate the Low Flying Rule of the Air” and apparently the information previously received is “erroneous.”No further clarifications have been forthcoming.
