Abu Dhabi Grand Adventure. Vacation, Hotels, Tours and Flights

Explore the United Arab Emirates’ capital and its surrounding region on this Emirates vacation. Begin in Abu Dhabi, the capital city, and explore its historical sites like Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque before taking in the amusement parks of Yas Island, touring the caravan oasis town of Ai Ain, and enjoying luxury amenities in the middle of the desert at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort.

United Arab Emirates

This 7-day Abu Dhabi vacation takes you from the United Arab Emirates’ capital city to the theme parks of Yas Island and the desert resort of Qasr Al Sarab.

Your Abu Dhabi vacation package begins in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. This city of almost two million is less futuristic than Dubai, but its wealth of historical sites and growing luxury infrastructure means it need not live in the shadow of its glitzier neighbor. Explore the spectacular waterfront to find the luxury hotels and beaches, but be sure to visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the country’s main site of worship, to get a taste for the city’s cultural significance. Also be sure to visit the traditional souks and tour the nearby Bedouin communities to get a taste for the Emirates prior to the rise of modernization.

After exploring Abu Dhabi, head to Yas Island to experience one of the nation’s most popular attractions. Gearheads will get a kick out of visiting the Yas Marina Circuit, which hosts the F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix every November, and Ferrari World, a theme park showing off all things Ferrari. Yas Island is also home to Yas Waterworld, a futuristic waterpark that’s an ideal family destination.

Dubai

Dubai  is the most populous city and is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located south of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula and has the largest population with the second-largest land territory by area of all the emirates, after Abu Dhabi. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature. It is rather like an independent city-state and is the most modern and progressive emirate in the UAE, developing at an unbelievable pace in the tourist and trade sectors especially. Recently Dubai won the bid to host EXPO 2020, a Universal scale Registered Exposition approved by the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE), Paris.

Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, the capital and the second largest city in the United Arab Emirates, lies on a T-shaped island jutting into the Persian Gulf from the central western coast. The city is also one of the most modern cities in the world. Abu Dhabi features large gardens and parks, green boulevards lining all the streets and roads, sophisticated high-rise buildings, international luxury hotel chains and opulent shopping malls.
